In a multifunctional collapse from all possible fronts, Mary has recently taken over her gene to run over safety and reason, bringing to light a repressed need for an explosion of colours.

In her most recent work, Mary uses the light absorption in rhythms and graduations that through the lack of time, gets to results where the experimentation takes over the fear and the wrong, and its personal judgment is the only decision making factor for the final visual solution.

In her last solo exhibition – Real Time Exhibition – Mary proposed 4 experimentations and 4 exhibitions in one, showing in real time her creative process in the making of 37 paintings and 12 fine art photographs in only 4 weeks.

The 4 experimentations had an immersion in place that had never been lived by the artist herself, which lead to expression results and visual achievements way more intense and impacting than mentally envisioned.

Each experimentation had became a different collection for the artist.

She has in her artistic background already two exhibitions in New York and three in Rio de Janeiro, 14 years of painting, numerous art courses in Rio and in Florence and a long list of trips and visual references.

Her entrepreneur side is made up by the founding of 3 companies and 12 years of big projects and brought her to the creation of Abstract Blue, an inspiring space with a panoramic view to Guanabara Bay.

It’s here where Mary gives art and inspiration courses and the space also makes room for her new studio, enabling the physical and mental broadening of her artistic work.
